B-52 ACT-SERIES subwoofers are the ultimate solution for low frequency sound reinforcement. These revolutionary active subs deliver up to 135dB of deep, rich, chest-pounding bass. The B-52 digital sub amplifier is powerful enough to drive an additional passive subwoofer. ACT-SERIES subwoofers eliminate the need for additional components such as rack-mount power amplifiers, electronic crossovers, compressor and limiters as this circuitry is built-in. Available in your choice of roadworthy black paint or black carpet finish with a tilt-back handle and 3" casters.

THE BUILT-IN AMP POWERS THIS SUB AS WELL AS ANOTHER PASSIVE SUB (SUCH AS THE ACT18XS VERSION). WITH TWO SUBS, THE AMP WILL PUSH 1200 WATTS RMS PER SUB!

POWERS ADDITIONAL PASSIVE SUBWOOFER
B-52 active subwoofers (ACT-18 or ACT-18X) are designed to power an additional passive sub. The passive subwoofer (ACT-18S and ACT-18XS) has the same physical dimensions as the active models. Connecting the active subwoofer to an additional passive sub increases the amplifier's available power output from 800 to 1200 (per sub) watts.
